Reflection
Unit 3 was a challenging unit for me. We learned so much and and really delved into functions. The most difficult topic to learn was domain and range. I was just confused sometimes and I found it difficult. What I found easy was the transformations. The most frustrating thing in the unit for me was the incredibly long tasks we had to do for homework in the yellow task booklet. I have grasped the whole unit but I still need help from time to time on the worksheets. The concepts I have the best grasp on is finding out whether a function is odd, even, or neither and determining if a function is symmetrical.
Advice I would give to students learning about linear and exponential functions in the future is pay attention and bring your supplies. When we made graphs and I forgot my ruler I would be upset that I couldn't make my graphs as nice as I wanted them to be.
Tasks I found the most beneficial in the unit was the Sequences as Functions task in the yellow book and the rabbit task we had. The rabbit task and sequences as functions task helped me understand and master sequences.
